Just on CBC Radio 690AM!

We were just on CBC Radio, 690AM, this afternoon! We were also joined by Christina de Jong from CRWRC, who got to share about the CRWRC organization and the effect of the goats in peoples lives! She also brought us up to speed on the goat-o-meter, and we are now at 398!!!

    I listened to you on the radio today and I called my two daughters up to tell them I was buying them a goat. Of course their first questions were “what will I feed it” and “My strata allows pets, I wonder if goats are included.” What a hoot! Thanks for giving us an opportunity to pitch in. We now have four goats. One for me and one for my assistant. Naming them comes next.

    I’ve got my whole research group following the goat-o-meter. I’ll work on trying to get a few more disgruntled Flames fans onto this. Nicely done–see you July 4,

    We listened to the interview here at the (CRCNA) office too! And have no fear, there are many hockey fans at the CRCNA/CRWRC offices! Not many will admit to being true Canucks fans … but we’re rooting for them now that they’re our only team left. I ordered a t-shirt … I have other Canuck-wear (they’re my -dare I say it?- second favourite team) but mostly the older style (black/yellow/orange). I’ll wear my goat with pride!

    (oh … and I sent an email to Don Cherry a week or so ago, through the CBC website, telling him about Goat-Canucks-Goat because my son would get a total thrill if he mentioned it on Coach’s Corner … maybe a shirt would seal the deal :D )
