Beard today, gone tomorrow.
The Canucks lost tonight and are now eliminated from the playoffs. I am going to find some sackcloth I can wear for tomorrow. In the mean time it is time for all of us who said we would buy goats once the Canucks finished the playoffs to buy our goats. I really need that silver lining right now. Who am I kidding, I need gold lining right now. I for one will be buying my problems away in the form of goats. I’m too down in the dumps to make a full post tonight, but will be back tomorrow. There’s always next year… Again.

Joel,
Such is the lot of the Canucks fan. 39 some odd years and counting. But good job on providing us with that silver lining, it’s been a hoot…

Two goats bought in honor of Burrows and Kessler, my new fave guys. Thanks Canucks, and thanks Joel for an interesting playoff season.

We’re thinking that somewhere in the world tonight there are several hundred families who have never heard of hockey whose lives have been shifted a little further away from a hand-to-mouth existence because of the enthusiasm and creativity of some crazy hockey fans. Blessed are you who have been a blessing.

Whatever, you guys did a great thing. Not only for the team, but for a lot of families in Africa. Thank you.
And hey, there’s always next year.

It has been an awesome ride with these goats. THANKS for the incredible spirit you have shown for helping families in another part of the world, for the many crazy hours to connect with the media. Who could have imagined? We thank God for what He was able to accomplish through all your support!!

Hey Joel - I’m not a Canucks fan but I’m a fan of those who want to serve the poor around the world. Your enthusiasm for this project and getting the message out there was contagious. You got me hooked.
And so today I went goat shopping….
Looking forward to seeing the final goat numbers and what you come up with for next year!

I am very proud of what you accomplished Joel. The loss is devestating, but a lot of good came from the ride.
How do you spell redemption?

Get lots of Tshirts in early next year, and be ready to start. So many folks have become aware of this great initiative, it could be an annual event.
Heck, people could make office challenges or whatever - keep those goats coming!
Way to go, Joel - ya dun good!

Maybe you should just say “Oh Well” and buy a well for a needy family.
